Rottweiler/Lab Mix - "Bo"

I think that if you looked up "perfect dog" in the dictionary you would find a photo of Bo! Bo is an adult, neutered male Rottweiler (lab) mix dog, about 70 pounds. He is very handsome- shiny black with white markings on his chest and paws and a docked tail.

He is about the most gentle, sweet and loving guy you could ever meet. He is great with dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and kids, and loves everyone he meets. He is house-trained, knows some commands, never chews or is destructive, doesn't jump on people, doesn't dig, doesn't bark, and walks wonderfully on his leash. Bo is an older, more mellow guy which makes him perfect for a family or individual who can't keep up with the exercise and play and training needs of a younger dog or puppy. He just loves being with people and getting petted- he'll lay on your feet and keep them nice and warm through the winter months! He is such a wonderful companion and has so much love to give- he always has extra kisses for you! He would be happy in a one-person home or a bustling family- wherever the love is, Bo will fit right in.Do you need a true best friend? Then look no further than Bo- you won't be sorry!

Bo was abandoned at a highway rest stop. He deserves another chance at life and happiness, and some lucky person or family deserves to have a dog as wonderful as Bo. Will you help him get his happy ending?

Pitbull Mix (Deaf) - "Pixie"

Pixie is an adorable pitbull mix. She is white with blue eyes and she is deaf. She is looking for a special home that is willing to teach her signals and help her lead a full and happy life. She is playful and full of energy. She is outgoing and ready to learn. She is also stubborn and has a mind of her own! "Miss Rosebud"

Miss Rosebud is a stray found on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. She desperately needs a foster or adoptive home. It is estimated that she is about 2 years old. Miss Rosebud is a very sweet dog who loves attention probably because she got so little of it the first 2 years of her life.

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, "Memphis"

"Hello, My name is Memphis. At least that's what they call me now. No one knows what my real name was. I was found along the road with "road rash" on both my front legs. And we're not sure how my front foot got broken, but it is already healed and the vet said it would be too painful to try to re-set it. But I don't let that stop me. I love to go for walks and play and swim. I am super sweet. I give the best kisses and super hugs!! My favorite place to be is where ever my person is.

I've had all my shots and the vet says I'm an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Without a doubt I am the most affectionate dog you will ever meet. At least to my person. I'm not happy about sharing my person with other dogs. I want them all to myself. That way when we're done playing I know there is room in my person's lap for just ME, Memphis."

Golden Retreiver/Spaniel Mix, "Scooter"

Scooter is a golden retriever/spaniel mix born Feb. 18 2008. He is housebroken, neutered, up to date on all his shots and crate trained. He weighs about 45 pounds. He loves to play and is great with kids. He is good around other dogs and cats. We just found out that we will have to be moving to an apt. around Nov. 18 so we will not be able to keep him. We are desperately trying to find a home for him so he doesnt have to go back to a kennel.

Husky Mix, "Tinka"

Tinka is a young female mixed breed dog (possibly husky mix) in need of a good home. She appears to be less than 1 year old and very affectionate and playful. She was abused by her previous owner but remains very social with other dogs, people, and gets along with cats. She is also good with kids and adults. She has had her rabies and distemper vaccinations. She has also been spayed.

Blue Heeler/Lab, "Daisy"

Please meet Daisy, a 3 year old Blue Heeler/Lab mix. Her story is sad for the first 3 years of her life but is now with a wonderful new caregiver until a new forever home can be found.

She is very submissive and has quickly become attached to her new caregiver. If you offer her a treat, she easily becomes your friend. She has been exposed to a kitten, she was curious but not aggressive. Daisy is up to date on vaccinations.

Pit Bull-Rottweiler Mix, "Tessa"

Tessa is an 8 month old Female Pit Bull, Rottweiler mix. Owner is moving out of town and can't bring her with. Tessa is potty trained. She is great with kids, cats, and other dogs (big or small). She doesn't like to be in the car often because she gets car sick. Tessa knows how to sit and kennel up. She is very loyal and loves to please everyone. She has her tail docked and her dew claws are removed. A kennel, collar, leash, and about 2 weeks of food will be provided.

German Shepherd, "Zarah"

Zarah is a young female, purebred German Shepherd. She had been wandering the streets for months. No one claimed her. It is believed she was abandoned.

She is very sweet and will work well with a dominant female dog. She has had both her rabies and distemper vaccinations. Zarah has also been spayed.

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, "Samantha"

Samantha is a 1 year old, spayed female who is up to date on vaccinations. She is very friendly and loving. She was adopted as a puppy but at 70lbs now has become a bit too strong for her owner. She could use some obedience training.

Lab/Rottweiler Mix, "Yobo"

Yobo is a 6 year old, lab/rottweiler mix. She was found abandoned at about 4 weeks of age. She is completely house trained and a very smart, loving dog. She is great with kids and a good watchdog, meaning she will bark if someone knocks at the door, or walks by the house with another dog. She is an indoor dog, always has been. She weighs about 70 pounds and is spayed. She likes to play. She loves to go for car rides. She should be leashed when walking becuase she likes to run. She has been with other dogs before and prefers female dog company but has gotten along with other male dogs. Her owner would like to see her go to a farm or at least someone who has a fenced in area. She loves to snuggle and thinks she is a lap dog.

Blue Ticked Beagle "Aero"

Spayed, current on shots (most recent vet check was April 2008). Negative for heart worm. Trained, housebroken, obedience trained, invisible fence trained, great on leash, lovable, sweet, mellow. Over all Aero is great! She can be stubborn but I'm able to do things (teaching, off leash hiking, off leash camping) with her that I've heard many people cannot do with their beagle!
