August 4th - We named him Chewy, not because he chews, but because he looks like Chewbacca from Star Wars. He has been trained before. He has not marked anywhere in the house and has had no accidents. He won't even poop in the yard. He does poop when he goes for a walk so thats a plus!! He has escaped a few times already, but we have all the gates secured and made sure any spots he was able to wiggle through are now blocked! He is an escape artist thats for sure. He is doing great with the cats, he really doesn't pay any attention to them. He is doing fine with my 8 year old although he gets a little "excited" aound him at times, so I put him in his kennel to calm down. I have only put him in there once, otherwise I take him outside to get some fresh air! He met my hubby for only 10 minutes last night and when he came home from work this morning, he ran to the top of the stairs and growled a bit. So he is a protector, thats for sure. I did let him sleep in my room last night because he seems like he is a good little guy. he did jump in my bed to cuddle but he slept right by my bed on the floor last night. He did just great. When I went to work today my son said he cried and cried. I felt so bad! : ( But when i got home he was SO excited. We gave him a bath today and he smells MUCH better. : ) He didn't seem to mind his bath OR the blow dryer. he is a good little guy, thats for sure. I would have to say that he really loves women a lot. He is very protective over me, and is always by my side. .
