Sam, previously known as Fonzy, is a spunky little fellow. He is very outgoing and enjoys the company of other dogs. We also think he would do fine with cats. Sam and Penny (Chocolate Pitbull) are very lucky dogs. Their owner went to jail and they went to the pound. But luckily our rescue was able to take them in on the day they were to be euthanized. Sam is a great dog looking for his second chance at having a loving family. Please consider making him your new companion.

Per a request from his foster home, his name is being changed to Sam.
August 10 Update: He is a very nice dog. Not really barky, he barks when he wants something (not that we always know what that is). I have left him in the kennel while working during the day and he seems just fine with that. He likes to sleep quite a bit, but likes to be around people when he knows you are there. He is well housetrained and as you can see in the picture, even knows some tricks, like begging and sit. He gets along well with other dogs, men and women. He likes to cuddle. I've had no trouble with biting or marking or any other issues thus far. I think he will make a great addition to some family, he is very deserving. And he loves to go for walks and is very good at it.
