Other: Spayed Female, vaccinations current
For several years, many people in the community had been very concerned
about a female husky who lived her life tied to a tree with a homemade
old dog house, a heavy chain and absolutely no human attention. Many complaints
were made about the owner, but nothing could be done because the dog had
food, water, shelter (the rickety old dog house qualified as shelter).
So Luna lived day and night, summer and winter tied to the tree alone.
Over a week ago, her owner moved away and left Luna tied to the tree.
Luna was impounded. Poor Luna was miserable in the pound which has no
outdoor access.
Luna is a beautiful baby-blue eyed husky with typical husky energy (energy +++ after being couped up for over a week) and will need socialization and training after living a life tied to a tree. She knows how to sit and likes people. She did fine while meeting a dog and cat in the pound.
