Misty has a broken elbow as a result of being hit by a car. She spent 3 days in the pound waiting for her owner to come get her but nobody ever did. Our organization is currently communicating with veteinarians to determine the best course of treathment for repairing her injury.

Update: Another Veterinarian believes that Misty will not need orthopedic surgery. From reviewing a second set of x-rays it looks like her elbow is healing nicely on its own. She probably won't have full range of motion in her leg once she is healed but should be OK. A new support cast has been put on her leg to stabilize it.

Misty is a very sweet and friendly dog. Even while in pain with her injury she wants nothing more than to cuddle and be loved.

Misty has two cherry eyes. Surgery has been scheduled to have these fixed.
