Peanut is a very loving, playful and affectionate little dog and would make the perfect companion for someone who is lonely. She loves to sit on your lap and going for walks.

She is food-motivated so she would be very easy to train.

Peanut gets along with other dogs and we think would be OK with cats.

Peanut went to a trial home but had some house training issues there so is now available for adoption again. It is not uncommon for a dog to have house training issues when moved to a new environment. We are now recommending that Peanut be adopted by a home that has a fenced yard and another dog. Hopefully having another dog around to be outside with will give her the confidence to stay outside long enough to take care of business.

November 5 -Peanut is a very loving, playful, and affectionate little dog; she loves to sit on your lap and sleep right next to you at night. She is food-motivated and would be very easy to train. When we first got her, she had never been on a leash but she now loves to go for walks. I think she needs a home with a fenced yard - - not because she would run away, but because I don't know if she would potty/poop if she is put outside on a tie-out. She is housetrained and is a great little dog.

She gets along with other dogs and I think she would be OK with cats. Peanut would be a perfect companion for someone who is lonely.
