December 16, 2008 - Rusty is doing just wonderfully as always! He really is a very special dog!! Rusty is wonderful with cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, and people of all ages. We've had him around so many animals and people and he just loves them all. He loves to cuddle and be petted. He'd be very happy in a home with cats, and would be very happy with a canine companion. Rusty would be happy with a family who will give him daily exercise- he loves walking, jogging and does great on bike rides! He just loves getting out for some exercise and then coming home and lounging around. Rusty is really smart and I think he'd love a family to take him to dog obedience classes- I think he'd love the chance to use his smarts and show off how fast he learns! Most of all Rusty is such a big sweetie- he's just the most well-behaved, loving dog and anyone would be so lucky to adopt him- he puts a smile on our faces every day. We are so lucky to be able to foster him!

June 23, 2008 - Rusty is an all-around great dog. He is perfectly house-trained, doesn't chew stuff up, listens well to commands, gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats (even little biting puppies and kittens- he's super gentle), and is a total sweetheart! He loves our daily walks, jogs or bike rides but also loves being a couch potato and just cuddling. Mostly he just loves being around people who care about him. He has gone camping this summer and has done great- he thought hiking was especially fun! Rusty would enjoy an active home committed to giving him some form of exercise every day. He would like a home with another playful dog or, like in our case, a playful cat who likes playing with dogs. He would like a family who would take him to dog training classes, as he is a pretty smart guy and we think this would be fun for him. Rusty is a riot and will make you laugh with all of his funny ways and all of the sweet things he does. He deserves a very special forever family, and the family that adopts him will be so very lucky. He's such a special dog!

Previous Feedback - Rusty has gained the weight he needed and is currently 50 pounds. Rusty is wonderful with kids! He is a dream dog, we love him so much! He gets along so good with dogs and cats it's ridiculous. He babysat a puppy we had for a few days and I've never seen a dog so gentle with a puppy. He's house trained, almost NEVER barks, is already learning some basic commands! He is extremely patient, loving and gentle when playing.

He likes going to the dog park, running, going for walks or playing but is equally happy cuddling up on the couch (or in bed, if you'll let him...). He loves giving kisses and is super-smart and eager to please. The beginning of his life was spent in bad conditions, he is just so happy to be part of a family!

He is now almost 50 pounds and gaining. I'm sorry to ramble on about Rusty, but I feel he is just about the perfect dog for anyone. Great personality and temperment, adorable, smart, he's just such a great dog... Kitra
