January 9th - Tasha is doing well, and follows me around the house. When I am a the computer, she lays down by my feet under the desk. She gets along well with the other two and continues to try to make friends with the cat. She is very friendly, snuggly and great with the other animals and my son.

December 23rd - Tasha has been doing well in our home. For the most part, she ignores my two nine-year old dogs and our foster dog, Simon. They have only had one little growling match over food. She is warming up nicely to everyone here and enjoys being here. From her previous home I understand she ignored the cat there and was very good to the young children. She has had only one accident and that was because I didn't notice her sign. When she needs to go out, she will stare at the door or scratch on it.

Tasha may be a bit reluctant to go into her kennel and bark a little at first but then settles down just fine. She'd much rather sleep in the middle of the living room floor so she can see what everyone is doing.

She was spayed today and had surgery for her entropia (eyelids curled inward); the vet feels it went well but only time will tell. All the people at the vet clinic remarked about how nice she is and not like a typical shar pei. So far, she seems to be an all around nice mellow gal!
