Charlie is a VERY LUCKY Dog!

I'm a Lucky Dog! I'm a Lucky Dog!

Charlie is a very lucky dog. He was schedule to be euthanized at a local pound about a month ago. Due to all local rescues being full and the fact that he has medical issues, he was unfortunately passed over. With a heavy heart we had to say no at the time and mourned for him.

A day or so later we got a call from a gal. She had originally found Charlie abandoned in an apartment. At the last minute prior to him being euthanized, she pulled him from the pound thinking she could find a home for him. Unfortunately she couldn't and contacted us to ask for our help. There was no way we could say no to this dog twice so Charlie was accepted into our program.

Charlie was born with 6 toes on each foot and we noticed that he had some problems with his hind legs. He was taken to the Vet for an evaluation. He has a issues (hip dysplasia, fused joints) with his back legs being most affected. The Vet determined that Charlie was born with most of these issues and felt that he could live a decent life if given joint supplements. Despite his joint issues, Charlie is a very happy dog who loves to go for walks and be close to people. We are giving Charlie his needed supplements and have had him neutered in preparation for finding him a new forever home.

Unfortunately, due to our lack of enough foster homes, Charlie is currently being boarded at a local kennel facility. Charlie desperately needs a foster or forever home. If you would like to help Charlie out by providing him a home, please fill out a foster or adoption application

We are also accepting monetary donations to help us pay for Charlie's boarding fees.
