Adoption Days/Events - Show dogs, sign up volunteers, tell public about our Rescue.
Advertising/Marketing/Radio - We need creative people for helping with our marketing, advertising and public service/educational documents.
Dog Walking - Walking dogs that currently are staying at local boarding facilities.
eBay - Donate items, sell items on eBay for us.
Foster Home/Emergency Foster Home (complete the foster home application too)
Fundraisers - Sell candy bars and coupon books, canvas area businesses for donations, etc.
Grant Writing - Research grant opportunities, write grant proposals.
Home Visits - Visit home of adoption applicant to determine if safe & loving environment for a dog. For safety reasons we require individuals that do home visits to be at least 21 years of age.
Kibble Kitchen - Transport food for families that have a dog and are not able to feed it for some reason or drive themselves and to boarding facilities.
Newsletter - Help write, edit, design our quarterly newsletter.
Posters/Flyers - Go to businesses for permission to post our flyers (grocery stores, hair salons, video stores, etc.)
Reference Checking - Contact veterinary and personal references listed on adoption applications - takes approximately 30 minutes per application and you MUST be able to communicate via both phone and email.
Rummage Sales - Set up, work, tear down, get items from family/friends/co-workers for the sale.
Silent Auction/Gala - Help solicit donations OR help with setup, the auction and clean up the day of the event.
